What this job involves, and what moves the price.
Hail does not fall evenly across Dallas. Run the NOAA storm reports for the last two years against the city and the southwest quadrant, Oak Cliff included, takes several times the concentration that north Dallas does. Roofs here age on a faster clock than the same roof five miles north, and it is the reason a twelve-year-old roof in 75211 can be in worse condition than a twenty-year-old roof in Preston Hollow.
What hail does to a composition shingle is not a hole. It is a bruise: the impact fractures the fiberglass mat under the surface and knocks granules loose, and the shingle carries on looking like a shingle for another year or two while the exposed asphalt bakes. By the time it is visible from the ground the damage is old, and old damage is the kind an insurer argues about.
Included Inspection of the roof and of the soft metal around the property · Photographs of what was found, dated · Wind-lifted courses and broken seal strips identified, not just missing shingles · Temporary tarping where water is getting in now · An honest read on whether the damage is worth a claim at all
How It Works
Call or send the form
Say what you are seeing: a stain, a storm, missing shingles, or a roof you just want an opinion on.
Someone gets on the roof
And into the attic, because the underside of the decking tells you things the surface will not. The inspection is free.
Photographs and a scope
You cannot see your own roof, so you get pictures of what was found and a written scope before any number is agreed.
The work, then the sweep
A tear-off scatters nails across a property. The last job of the day is running a magnet over the drive, the lawn and the beds.
Before You Call
Storm Damage, answered.
How do I know if my roof has hail damage?
From the ground you mostly cannot, which is the problem. The reliable tells are on soft metal: dents in gutter aprons, vent caps, downspouts and window wrap. If those are dimpled, the roof took the same impacts. On the roof itself the sign is granule loss in circular patches with a bruised, spongy feel underneath.
How long do I have to file a hail claim in Texas?
Most Texas policies require prompt notice and many carriers apply a two-year limit from the date of loss, but the specific deadline is in your own policy and it varies. The practical constraint is different: the older the damage, the harder it is to tie to a dated storm.
Will filing a claim raise my premium?
A weather claim is not an at-fault claim, and Texas carriers generally rate hail regionally rather than penalizing one household for one storm. Rates across North Texas do rise after big hail years, and they rise for everyone in the area whether or not they claimed.
My neighbors are all getting new roofs. Does that mean mine is damaged?
It means a storm passed over the street, which is evidence and not proof. Hail swaths are narrow and one side of a road can take a different beating than the other. Get your own roof looked at rather than assuming either way.
What if an inspection finds no damage?
Then there is no claim, and hearing that is worth the visit. A denied claim on record with no repair to show for it helps nobody.
Why Homeowners Pick Us
Hail bruises a shingle long before it breaks one.
A soft mat under an intact surface is the damage that ends a roof, and none of it shows from the ground. It is also the first thing an adjuster is trained to look for.

The Difference
The part that decides whether it lasts.
Wind works differently and is easier to miss. It lifts the leading edge of a course, breaks the seal strip that holds each shingle to the one below, and lays it back down. Nothing looks wrong. The next storm gets underneath it. Anyone assessing storm damage properly is looking at seal strips and at the soft metal on the property (gutters, vents, window wrap), because soft metal dents where a shingle only bruises, and it is the honest witness to what actually hit the house.
